Tadalafil (Vidalista) 5 mg Tablet

$1.95

Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor prevalently used in the treatment of erectile problems. This drug also treats pulmonary hypertension, a type of high blood pressure that affects the arteries in the lungs.

Tadalafil acts by specifically inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 ( PDE5), which is responsible for the smooth muscle metabolism of cyclic guanosine monophosphate ( cGMP). The inhibition led to an rise in cGMP levels during sexual arousal, causing smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis corpus cavernosum, resulting in an erection. It also relaxes the smooth muscle in the pulmonary vascular area , causing vasodilatation and diminished vascular resistance in the lung.

How Does It Work?

Tadalafil works by selectively inhibiting the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) enzyme responsible for the metabolism of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the smooth muscle. The inhibition led to an increase in cGMP levels, causing smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow into the corpus cavernosum of the penis during sexual stimulation, thereby producing an erection. It also relaxes the smooth muscle in the pulmonary vascular bed, causing vasodilation and reduced pulmonary vascular resistance.
